  8. Designed to be a low-cost Ethernet solution, the Artisoft AE-1/T Ethernet
  9. adapter lets you cable your network with the affordable twisted-pair cabling
  10. often found prewired in newer office buildings. Then all you have to do is
  11. add Artisoft's Peer-Hub concentrator -- or any other standard 10BASE-T
  12. hub -- to make your network connections.

  14. Unshielded twisted-pair cable plugs directly into the adapter, which then
  15. cables directly to the Peer-Hub concentrator. The adapter's link-integrity
  16. LED will show if the connection to the hub is correct. And because Artisoft
  17. designed its AE-1/T Ethernet adapter in conjunction with its Peer-Hub
  18. concentrator, the adapter will not only use any of the concentrator's five
  19. external twisted-pair ports, but also take advantage of any of its internal
  20. twisted-pair connectors.

  22. And that's not all. The AE-1/T Ethernet adapter offers increased efficiency
  23. with more IRQ options (Interrupt Request Lines) than most other adapters.
  24. These additional IRQs can be used by AT class machines or above,
  25. leaving you more free IRQs for other hardware devices.
